Tsavo East Day Safari

Good if you're based on the coast and don't want to give up a hotel night. We're on the road around 4am, in the park by sunrise, and spend the day working the Galana River tracks for elephants, buffalo and, with luck, lion. Lunch is at a camp inside the park, with a pool to cool off in before the drive back.

Suggested itinerary

  1. Very early departure via Sabaki Valley
  2. Morning game drive along the Galana River
  3. Lunch and pool break at an in-park camp
  4. Afternoon game drive, return before sunset
