5-Day Tsavo & Taita Circuit

Starting and ending near Mombasa, this one covers a lot of ground: Tsavo West's game drives, an evening at Amboseli with Kilimanjaro views and a Maasai dance performance, then the Taita Hills, where the lodge has underground tunnels with windows right at waterhole level. We close with a last day in Tsavo East before heading back to the coast.

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo West, evening game drive
Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli, afternoon game drive, evening Maasai dance
Day 3: Transfer to Taita Hills, waterhole viewing from underground tunnels

Destinations

Amboseli National Park

Elephant herds roam right out in the open here, with Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak rising behind them on a clear morning. It's one of the most photographed views in the country.

Tsavo East & West

Kenya's biggest park by a long way, split into East and West, known for elephants that turn rust-red from the iron-rich dust and for wilderness you can drive through for hours without meeting another vehicle.
