14-Day Grand Kenya Safari & Coast

For guests who want to actually settle into Kenya rather than rush through it. We open with a full day in Nairobi (Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick elephant orphanage, the Giraffe Centre), then Amboseli and Tsavo East for the classic game drives, before dropping you at Diani for the better part of a week. Along the way there's a full-day boat trip to Wasini and Kisite islands for snorkelling and dolphins, plus a hike to Sheldrick's Falls in Shimba Hills.

Suggested itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
Day 2: Nairobi city and wildlife day (Nairobi NP, elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre)
Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli, afternoon game drive
Day 4: Transfer to Tsavo East, evening game drive
Day 5: Morning game drive, transfer to Diani
Day 6–7: Diani Beach, free time
Day 8: Wasini & Kisite Island boat excursion, snorkelling
Day 9: Free day at Diani
Day 10: Shimba Hills day trip, hike to Sheldrick's Falls
Day 11–13: Diani Beach, free time
Day 14: Transfer to Mombasa Airport, departure

Destinations

Amboseli National Park

Elephant herds roam right out in the open here, with Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak rising behind them on a clear morning. It's one of the most photographed views in the country.

Tsavo East & West

Kenya's biggest park by a long way, split into East and West, known for elephants that turn rust-red from the iron-rich dust and for wilderness you can drive through for hours without meeting another vehicle.

Diani Beach

Most of our guests end their trip here: white sand, warm turquoise water and a reef close enough to snorkel from the beach.
