A straight run down from Nairobi to Amboseli and back, with a full afternoon and morning of game drives in between. You won't miss much: elephant herds, lions, giraffes, and Kilimanjaro looming over the whole park when the clouds clear.

  1. Day 1: Drive to Amboseli, lunch, afternoon game drive, overnight at lodge
  2. Day 2: Morning game drive, drive back to Nairobi
